Australia is the country that hates all their prime ministers but come election time there’s no such thing as a bad prime minster. That’s how Abbot has stayed in power so long if you ask me.
actually, it’s more that the liberal party are spineless and won’t break lockstep with the party line in order to toss him out.
this is his first term.
